My name is Juliette Janssen. I was born in 1990 in Tilburg, the Netherlands. I’m studying documentary photography in Utrecht, where my main focus is storytelling through photos.

My interest in photojournalism and documentary photography started on a young age. My parents took us travelling and backpacking to countries such as Sri Lanka, Egypt and Israel, but also the Westcoast of America. We met and experienced different people, cultures, religions and opinions. This all started my interest in both individual stories and bigger stories.
